Location:  3 blocks south of the Centennial Olympic Park.  Located in the National Register’s historic community of Castleberry Hill, the neighborhood is home to many artists’ studios and converted lofts and warehouses.   Just 15 minutes from Atlanta’s international airport and blocks from the complex of the Georgia World Congress Center, The Georgia Dome, Phillips Arena, and the CNN Center.  Convenient to the downtown business district.

Building:  The 3 story (plus basement), brick building - circa 1907 - has been meticulously converted into a state-of-the-art studio, offices, conference area and separate residential quarters.  A suspended cable staircase, a 22’ spiral staircase, and a rebuilt freight elevator accesses this dramatic high tech space.  The security/alarm system, central music, lighting and phone systems are integrated and controlled by a home automation computer accessible within the property or remotely by any telephone keypad.

Studio & Office Space:  The front hallway/gallery leads to the exposed brick reception area, studio and darkroom.  The secured 2-car garage allows car entry into the studio, as well as entry into the metal walled and blue neon lit reception area.  The office space, occupying the second floor and overlooking the studio, contains an open conference room with original heart pine floors, a Herman Miller glass wall and a purple, 11 piece, Thonet sofa.  The central office offers a black metal, natural wood and fabric Herman Miller office system with an additional 2-3 workstations.  The 2 office spaces provide access to an exterior tiled deck and a business lavatory with sandstone and granite floors, hand textured and faux painted walls, and an oversized Kohler pedestal sink with Grohe fixtures.

Residential Space: All rooms are custom faux painted, with lighting fixtures by Artimede and Koch & Lowy, Casablanca ceiling fans, Harbinger carpeting and thermo paned Anderson windows with natural wooden blinds. 

On the 2nd floor, the living room, with restored heart pine floors and exposed pine ceiling joists, includes custom cabinetry, an entertainment center, television cabinet and ceiling mounted JBL speakers.  The dining room has solid black granite floors, exposed pine ceiling joists and custom fabricated oak and stained glass doors.  The fully equipped kitchen includes custom Woodmode cabinetry, Jennaire oven and microwave, Traulsen stainless steel and black glass refrigerator, Thermador black glass gas cooktop, Corian countertops, sink and accents, Grohe faucet and a 12’ Corian bar top with 4 black lacquer Thonet stools. The three rooms surround an interior courtyard with access from the kitchen and living rooms.

On the 3rd floor, the master suite, composed of 3 adjoining rooms, overlooks the interior, 2-story courtyard.   The master bedroom has 2 French doors opening onto wrought iron balconies, a 4’ X 4’ electric Velux roof window.  The dressing room is custom outfitted with black gloss cabinetry.  The master bathroom completes the suite with its 2 Kohler pedestal sinks, double walk-in stall shower and skylight.  Connecting the master suite to the 2 additional bedrooms, is a sky lit gallery and access to the laundry room.  The laundry room is equipped with a Maytag washer & dryer, ceramic tile floor with drain, custom white cabinetry, a stainless steel sink and adjoining utility room.   The amethyst faux painted bedroom #2 with built in bunk bed or storage area, connects to the yellow faux painted bedroom  #3 by a cantilevered deck accessed by sliding glass doors in each bedroom.  The guest bathroom is a Corian showcase with Corian walls, counters, columns, crown molding, tile, base molding and double sinks.  The floor is a combination of marble and granite.  Fixtures include a black American Standard whirlpool tub and toilet, hand and wall mounted shower, and tub filler.  Custom cabinetry provides storage and display.

Basement:  Open space with concrete floor, workshop with counters, and walk-in fire vault with commercial grade standard and bracket shelving system.
